Lithium Iodate or LilO
3 crystal is an uniaxial nonlinear crystal with high nonlinear optical coefficients and wide transparency range.  It is used to frequency double the low and medium power Ti:Sapphire, Alexandrite, Cr:LiSrAlF6 and Cr:LiCaAlF6 lasers. In some cases, it is also used for frequency doubling and tripling of Nd:YAG lasers and auto-correlators for measuring ultra-short pulse width.

Notes:
1.  LiIO3 is highly hygroscopic. Please keep it in a dry environment, and sealed housing is recommended.
2.  LiIO3 is not recommended for high power applications, because of the low damage threshold.
